My name is Amanda Plast and I am the
owner of The Coffee Shop. We are a
coffee house ministry that is directed to meet needs of the neighborhood and
community in which we are located.
We have study rooms for college students and business professionals, as
well as, a full breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drink menu. We also have live music and a back deck
for a more relaxed feel.
The community near the University of
Texas at San Antonio, does not have a local coffee shop with in walking
distance of the campus. Our goal
is to build a shop that allows students to come and study, have a good meal,
and spend time with their friends, all while they are in an atmosphere that feels
relaxed, comfortable, and a little bit like home. We also will have meeting spaces for business professionals
with top quality electronics for them to use for presentations and to help them
with their work. We are offering a
full menu with nutritional items so that students can have the right nutrients
their bodies need for peak performance in school and in their everyday lives..
We are looking at sales to be around
$20,000 a month. In the first five
years of our company we will be a for-profit company so that we can fix up the
shop just how we’d like it, so that wet provide the best for our
customers. After those five years
we will be a not for-profit company, giving all of our profit back to local and
overseas ministries. We will be
looking at a profit of around $5,000 a month per month for the first five
years.
I myself am putting in $300000 of my
own money for start up costs. My
partners will be adding a total of $300000 of their money as well to the
company. We are looking for an
investor to give $900000 of their money to help with all of the start up
costs. These include: building
costs, equipment costs, employee wages, remodeling, advertisement funding, and
some miscellaneous expenses.
We are willing to be an interest rate
of 10% and would like to set a payoff date for May of 2027. We’d love if you could support our
team, we believe that what we are about to start is not only going to benefit
the students, but the community as a whole. I’d like to set up a meeting a week from now if possible to
go over details and to answer any questions you may have.
